1880s Leather German fire helmet.

Helmet #23.  Captain RFD 5.  Aluminum helmet w/ leather front piece.  Helmet #23 belonged to Capt. Ray S. Mould who served from Feb 2, 1946 to June 29, 1973.
Helmet #24.  FF Louie Oar's helmet.  MSA fiberglass.  Damaged at the Central Intermediate School Fire on Thanksgiving Day 1967.  A backdraft explosion blew FF Oar  out the front door into the street.  FF Oar was not seriously injured.  Louie Oar served from July 8, 1957 to Jan. 4, 1987.
Helmet #44.  Capt. Andy Anderson's helmet.  This helmet replaced the following helmet.  Capt. Anderson wore this helmet from 1948 until he retired in 1958.
Helmet #44.  Captain Andy Anderson's helmet.  Capt. Anderson was wearing this helmet at the Lake Street explosion and fire on Aug. 15, 1948. 
Helmet #175.  BC's helmet.  Bullard model FH2100.  This helmet belonged to BC Greg McVickers who served from Feb. 22, 1972 to March 1997.
BC's helmet.  Plastic helmet.  Leather front piece.  "Plectron" face shield.
BC's helmet.  MSA fiberglass.  BC Duhart's helmet.
FF Stanley "Rotten" Ritter's helmet.  Bullard FH2100.  FF Ritter died of a heart attack on July 5, 1989.

Capt. Victor Marini's retirement presentation helmet.  Capt. Marini retired May 2, 1972.
Chief Thyes leather helmet.  Chief H. J. Thyes was Chief of the RFD from May 8, 1888 to November 1888.  This helmet is in the collection of the Comstock Firemen's Museum in Virginia City, NV.

Helmet #59 belonged to Wes Peasnall who served from June 1, 1963 to Jan. 2, 1987.
Helmet #81 Captain RFD.  #81 belonged to Dean Staples who served from July 1, 1960 to June 25, 1992.
